I was sharing with a friend the enormous spiritual need in Europe. And then I read what Pete Greig and Dave Roberts said in their book, Red Moon Risins:
“With suicide rates among young men soaring alongside self-harm and eating disorders in women, we can say with some confidence that this generation may well be hurting more profoundly than any other.” (( p. 5 ))
Those of us who feel called to help this generation of Europeans see the hope we have in Christ feel weight of the task.
After talking to my friend he texted me this verse: Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. Selah.
That is a great encouragement..
